Synopsis: Lallan and Meena, a couple from Banaras (North India), are consumed by their pursuit to survive in the seedy ghettos of Mumbai city. Lallan ambles about hopelessly while Meena is losing touch with her emotions, almost turning into a machine herself. One day over a phone call, they find each other while embracing death, divorce and redemption.
