Synopsis: Two boys live with their sick grandmother in a hut deep in the mountains far away from the town. Early in the morning they work in the fields; later they walk to the road to sell fruit to the people who drive past. They use their meagre earnings to buy medicine for their grandmother. The road is their link to the world – it also determines their life.
